Å·ÃÀAV Re-Introduces Degree Program as Cybersecurity and Advanced Technology

Å·ÃÀAV is proud to announce a significant update to its renowned degree program in the Leahy School of Cybersecurity and Advanced Computing. The University has rebranded its Computer Security and Information Assurance (CSIA) degree to Cybersecurity and Advanced Technology (CSAT) to better reflect the evolving landscape of modern technology and to align with current industry standards.

On November 16, 2024, the Å·ÃÀAV AI Center, in collaboration with Å·ÃÀAV Applied Research Institutes (NUARI), hosted a unique one-day event focused on "AI and Humanitarian Disaster Response" for high school students and new Norwich students hoping to learn about AI, all inspired by a challenge from Vermont Senator Peter Welch.

On Saturday, November 16th, the AI Center alongside the Å·ÃÀAV Applied Research Institutes (NUARI) was privileged to host Vermont Senator Peter Welch for a hands on exercise in using AI to respond to humanitarian disasters.

Å·ÃÀAV recently hosted an Information Warfare Exercise (IWE) for Å·ÃÀAV, Virginia Military Institute (VMI), The Citadel, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, and the University of North Georgia (UNG) Information Warfare interns and faculty and Division staff from the Army's 10th Mountain Division.
