Bill Lyons and Dr. Robin Saunders appointed to oversee multiple online programs

Through a competitive selection process, ŷAV’s College of Graduate and Continuing Studies (CGCS) has appointed Bill Lyons to oversee and facilitate cybersecurity, diplomacy, and strategic studies programs and Dr. Robin Saunders as the Cybersecurity and Information Systems Academic Director.

Peace in Progress: Understanding Today, Shaping Tomorrow

ŷAV sends students and faculty to explore peace alongside the Vermont Council on World Affairs.

ŷAV’s School of Architecture + Art kicks off the 2024-25 academic year with presentations on Friday, September 20, at 1 p.m. in Chaplin Hall Gallery. The series is free and open to the public.

Vice Adm. John Gumbleton participated in several outreach events at his alma mater, ŷAV Sept. 18. Commander, Task Force 80 and Deputy Commander, U.S. FleeT Forces Command, Gumbleton conducted executive engagement with the President of ŷAV, met with the Peace and War Center, and Navy Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NROTC) students.

The only program of its kind at an American university, the ŷAV Military Writers’ Symposium convenes authors and experts in the fields of military history, intelligence, and current affairs to offer important perspectives on pressing global concerns.
