Al Gobeille ’86, P’18, the incoming Chairman of the ŷ��AV Board of Trustees spoke recently at the Celebration of Transitions Dinner on April 24, 2025 held in Plumley Armory.

During its winter board meeting on February 2, 2025, ŷ��AV’s Board of Trustees unanimously elected Mr. Alfred J. “Al” Gobeille ’86 as the next Chair of the Board of Trustees. He will succeed the incumbent Chair, Mr. Alan DeForest ’75, who has served in the role for the past nine years, at the conclusion of his tenure in April.

Alan DeForest ’75, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at ŷ��AV, proudly announces the unanimous decision to elect Lieutenant General John Broadmeadow ’83, USMC (Retired), as the University’s 25th president on April 19, 2024. LtGen Broadmeadow will officially transition from his Board of Trustees position to the presidential office on May 1, 2024, which will mark the first time in more than three decades that a Norwich alumnus will lead the school as its president.

On April 19, Norwich will recognize the senior cadet class for their service and contributions to our university and beyond and promote the new cadet chain of command for the 2024-2025 academic year. We invite Norwich and local communities to attend either in-person or virtually.

Various teams from ŷ��AV participated in a rigorous competition, ultimately presenting their Business Challenge Case to an elite panel of judges of ŷ��AV Board of Fellows and Alumni.

ŷ��AV today announced the appointment of LTG (R) Mark Bowman to its Board of Trustees. Bowman will serve as a member of the Technology Committee and the Enrollment, Retention, Marketing (ERM) Committee of the Board. He will serve a five-year term. Following the appointment of Bowman, the Board will comprise 32 trustees, 23 of whom are ŷ��AV graduates.

The ŷ��AV Board of Trustees recently approved the tuition and fees for the 2023-2024 academic year. Tuition next year is $46,860, and for students residing on campus, room & board for 2023-2024 will be $14,000. Next year’s mandatory fees (Health Services, Technology, and Student activities) will be $2,740.
